Helina Tsibu-Mensah joined Apam Senior High School as the Assistant Headmistress (Domestic) in 2019.She had her O level GCE at Nsaba Secondary School and continued 3 year post Secondary Education at Presbyterian Women's   training College, Aburi.

She completed her Bachelors degree in Home Economics from the University Of Education Winneba. She currently holds a Master's degree (MPHIL) in Home Economics (Food and Nutrition ) from the University Of Education,  Winneba. 

Helina Tsibu-Mensah begun the early stages of her career as  a basic and junior high school teacher at Twifo Agona Methodist and Agona Kwamang Methodist Junior high school respectively.She later got transferred to Agona Kwanyaku Methodist Junior High School where she taught life skills for 4 years.

Helina Tsibu -Mensah taught Home Economics at the Nsaba Presbyterian Senior High, Agona Nsaba and later got transferred to teach at Swedru Senior High School where she became the Head Of Department for Home Economics and she doubled as the Secretary of the Parent Teacher Association of the school.Her hardworking nature got noticed and she was appointed as Assistant Headmistress.

She was elected as the Vice Zonal Chairperson for National Association Of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), and then got elected to become the Zonal Chairperson . .She was a panel member of a morning show which primarily discussed health issues at kantinka FM, organized by Methodist Church.She is also a Presbyter of the  Presbyterian Church of Ghana.

She is a Facilitator,College Of Distance Education (CODE) University Of CapeCoast and also  an examiner for West African Examination Council (WAEC).

She is also the Vice Chairperson ,  loans committee for Swedru Teachers Cooperative Credit Union.

Helina Tsibu-Mensah firmly believes in directing and guiding young people to reason to become great personalities in the future .She also encourages the practice of sound values, and the empowerment of young people is a subject close to her heart.She is detail oriented and a critical thinker. These powerful skills and attributes has helped a lot of students she has taught to become enthusiastic and resourceful people.She has helped to enhance the academic, physical ,emotional and ethical growth of students she has taught and nurtured.
