Mr. Francis Gyakye is the Accountant of Apam Senior High School. He has been the Accountant of the School since December, 2017. He started work with Ghana Education service in 2006 at Twifo Praso District Education Office, Twifo Ati Mokwa, to 2013 as a subordinate. After his seven (7) years working experience at Twifo Praso, he was re-posted to be the substantive Accountant of Aburaman Senior High School and a member of the school’s board of governors in September, 2013 to March, 2018. Even though he was re-posted to take over at Apam Senior High School in December, 2017 and took over, he handed over the financial affairs of Aburaman Senior High School in March, 2018.

He started his education at Swedru Happy Home Preparatory School. He continued his secondary education at Swedru School of Business (SWESBUS). He completed his secondary education and started his tertiary education from Takoradi Polytechnic, now called Takoradi Technical University, and continues from Accra Polytechnic, now called Accra Technical University for his HND certificates. He again had his Bachelor of Commerce certificate from the University of Cape Coast in 2011.

He was elected as welfare treasurer of the Association of Education Accountant, Central Region from 2016 to 2020. His hard work earned him welfare Chairman of Association of Education Accountant, Central Region in 2020 to date.

Mr. Gyakye is married with four kids, a girl and three boys. He is a Christian, a Wesleyan to be précised and love to be a member of the boys’ brigade. He loves music and also like movies at his free time. He is very principled and takes his work seriously.
