Alfred Acquah is the Head of department for science. He joined Apam Senior High School in January 2005 but had his appointment letter in June 2005. He had his secondary education in Aggrey Memorial AME Zion SHS  and later continioued at Kwame Nkrumah university of Science And technology ,Kumasi.

 He completed with Bachelor of science in Biological Sciences in 2003. He did Post-Graduate Diploma in Education ( PGDE) at  University Of Education,  Winneba in 2016.  He is a Microsoft Certified Educator ICT literate. Alfred Acquah in his early years in APASS taught core Agric, core ICT and Elective Biology. Currently he is the Science HOD and teaches elective Biology. He is a teacher Mentor of CAMFED, an Elder in the church of Pentecost, a Coach of Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation (GRAF) and a facilitator at UCC distance learning- Apam Campus.

Alfred believes in directing and guiding young people to reason to become great personalities future He also motivates and encourages people to dream big and aspire higher. He has helped a lot of girls to get scholarship into tertiary.

    SOME ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT

1.     Qualified to the National Science and Maths Quiz for 5 conservative times.

2.     Won GOIL riddle Award in 2022

3.     Qualified to take apart in the global RoboGolf competition

4.      Zonal hand ball champions

5.      Zonal girls netball champions

6.      Zonal Table tennis champions
